The decision you make after your GCSEs about the next step in your academic career is a pivotal one and students are encouraged to explore all options to ensure they make the right decision. In St.Patrick's Grammar School we aim to make this decision making process as transparent, straight-forward and simple as possible.
If you are considering studying A levels at St. Patrick's Grammar School you should attend the Open Evening on Monday 28 January 2019 (7:00pm - 9:00pm) where you will have an opportunity to tour the school and speak to teachers and students about subjects you may be interested in studying. You will also have the opportunity to discuss your subject choices with the Head of Upper School, Mrs Clare Kennedy or a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
If you decide A level study in St. Patrick's is the correct pathway for you, attend our Post 16 Open Evening on Thursday 11 April 2019 (7:00pm - 8:00pm) where you will have another opportunity to tour the school and speak with Heads of Department.
On the morning you receive your GCSE results, come to our Sixth Form Admissions Morning and meet with a member of the Senior Leadership Team to discuss your application and if successful, finalise your subject choices.
Please note - admission to the Sixth Form is dependent on GCSE performance and the number of applicant exceeds the number of places available each year.
Induction for Year students will take place at the end of August with classes beginning early in September.
Please contact us if you have any queries about admission to our Sixth Form.
Admission to another year is dependent on spaces available. If you are interested or require further information, please contact us.
